For the 43rd time, Emma Gala honoured the most successful artists and music professionals of the past year. The winners of the night were Ares and emma & matilda, who took home three Emmas each.

Finland’s recorded music market continues to grow, according to the “Finnish Recorded Music Market 2025” report published by Musiikkituottajat IFPI Finland. The report is based on the international Global Music Report.

Finland’s largest and most prestigious annual music industry awards, the Emma Gala, will take place this year at Espoo Metro Arena on Saturday, 7 March. Gramex is once again partnering in the Newcomer of the Year award category. Gramex has sponsored the Newcomer of the Year category in previous years as well. Gramex's autumn meeting decided on new deductions from performers' and producers' remuneration. In 2024, a handling fee for remunerations collected from abroad will be introduced, as well as a deduction for social, cultural and educational activities for music performers.
