Did you know that Gramex automatically issues an International Performer Number (IPN) to each of its music performer clients? The number is especially useful when you create recordings abroad or receive royalties from abroad. You can find your number in MyGramex.

The International Performer Number (IPN) is an individuals international identifier which Gramex grants to its customers. It ensures that each performer has their own separate and traceable identifier that can be used worldwide..

The IPN number is used for international remunerations. The number is especially important when you are featured on an international recording, i.e., when the producer of the recording is a foreign entity. In such cases, remember to provide your IPN number to the foreign producer at the time of the recording.

After the notification, the producer will add your IPN number to the metadata of the recording. After this, you will receive the remunerations that belong to you, even from internationally produced recordings.

You can find your IPN number from the “My Account” section through the MyGramex portal. The number can be then found from Gramex info under the heading ”International Performer Number”

When performing, you can also notify Gramex of your performance on an international recording, for example, via email tilitys@gramex.fi
