Of the ten most-played songs of the past summer on commercial and YLE radio stations, as many as eight were Finnish. The most-played song in June and July was ‘Liekinheitin’ by Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen. The copyright organisation Gramex’s summer statistics list the ten most-played songs on commercial and Yle radio stations in June and July.

At the 50th-anniversary gala of the Finnish Music Publishers’ Association, held at the Valkoinen Sali in Helsinki, awards were presented to composers and for their works. An honorary award went to Mr Lord.

Music Producers – IFPI Finland has updated the certification thresholds for gold and platinum singles to reflect changes in music consumption and market conditions. The new thresholds came into force on 1 July 2026, but they do not apply retrospectively.

Gramex paid approximately EUR 5.2 million in its summer distribution on 11 June 2026. Remunerations were paid to around 8,000 Finnish performers and producers represented by Gramex.

Gramex’s “The Value of Music” video series launches on 12 June with an episode featuring Eva Louhivuori, taking viewers behind the creation of the new track “Sano se”.

The MyGramex portal will be available throughout the summer.
