Christmas distribution over €5 million

The distribution accounted for mainly included compensation for radio play (7-9/2025), background music compensation and compensation from abroad. In addition, three years’ worth of recordings not previously identified in the settlement process were paid retroactively.

In 2025, Gramex paid out four times. Thanks to the tighter invoicing schedule, the majority of the use of sound recordings was invoiced in the same calendar year. The pace of four invoices will continue next year and the first invoice for 2026 will be paid in the spring. See a more detailed invoicing schedule here.
