Parliament is currently having the most important cultural policy debate of the future, as the handling of the cultural policy report began in February. The topic is being discussed in several different committees.

AEPO-ARTIS, representing European music and audiovisual performers, has appealed to the Finnish government to reverse the cut in private copying. According to the petition, the cut is not in line with EU legal obligations.
