From the Workshop: The renewal of the phonogram report is in progress
The renewal project of the well-known audio announcement is progressing towards its release, which will hopefully see the light of day before the turn of the year. The updated service will include several much-requested improvements. The renewal work has been carried out in collaboration with our producer-customers – we have listened to your feedback and developed the service to be even smoother and more user-friendly.
At the heart of the renewal are features that our customers have specifically requested. These include the long-awaited ability to save an audio announcement as a draft for later completion, as well as a restricted artist search based on musicians and soloists previously reported by the producer. Additionally, the co-production agreement will be brought under electronic signature, making it easier to allocate producer shares for recordings with multiple producers.
mproving the user experience, providing clearer instructions, and introducing new features have been at the core of our development efforts. Our goal is to make submitting an audio announcement even easier and more seamless.
The number of audio data fields will increase slightly, but there’s no need to worry—this will not affect the number of required fields. Instead, the option to provide additional details will help us at Gramex allocate copyright royalties even more accurately, both domestically and internationally. You can ensure the correct distribution of royalties by providing Gramex with as precise information as possible about the recording and carefully completing the announcement.
