Riku Lievonen appointed Director of Communications and Public Relations at Gramex

Riku Lievonen will take up his position as Director of Communications and Public Relations at Gramex, on 18 May 2026. He joins Gramex from communications consultancy Burson, where he has worked as a specialist in public affairs and strategic communications.

“Riku Lievonen has a strong understanding of societal influence and an excellent ability to clarify complex issues. His expertise will significantly strengthen Gramex’s strategic communications and stakeholder engagement,” says Ilmo Laevuo, Managing Director of Gramex.

Lievonen brings extensive experience in communications and advocacy. Most recently, he has worked on issues related to the energy transition. Prior to that, he spent nearly two decades in demanding expert and leadership roles within the creative sector, including positions at Cirko – Center for New Circus, Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Helsinki Festival.

At Gramex, Lievonen will be responsible for communications, marketing and public relations, working together with his three-member team.
