What are the side and track number of a recording?
For each track included in a phonogram report, both the Side and Track number must be provided.
Side indicates where the track appears on the release. For example, on a vinyl record or cassette, it refers to the side on which the track is located (e.g. Side A or Side B). In a CD box set, the first CD is Side 1, the second CD is Side 2, and so on.
Track refers to the track's position on the release.
